How much airflow (CFM) do I need for my application?
Airflow requirements depend on heat load and temperature rise allowance. General guidelines:
- Small electronics/PSU: 5-30 CFM
- 1U-2U server: 30-80 CFM per unit
- Telecom cabinet: 100-300 CFM
- Energy storage cabinet: 100-500 CFM
- Industrial control panel: 50-200 CFM
- HVAC air handler: 200-2000 CFM
- Condenser cooling: 500-2000 CFM
