What happens if my fan isn't RoHS compliant?

Is China RoHS the same as EU RoHS?
Similar but not identical. China RoHS (SJ/T 11364) has a different substance list and requires mandatory marking. Products sold in China must comply with China RoHS separately from EU RoHS.
