How to Calculate Required Lumens from Lux

Formula: Required Lumens = Target Lux × Area (m²) ÷ (Fixture Efficiency × Light Loss Factor)

Fixture efficiency (CU) typically 0.6-0.8 for LED high bays, 0.4-0.6 for troffers. Light loss factor (LLF) accounts for dust accumulation and LED degradation — use 0.8 for clean environments, 0.7 for dusty warehouses.
